NPO
Shinkyokushin Kai WKO
After
the founder Sosai Masutatsu Oyama passed away, the WKO has taken on
the mission to spread Kyokushin Karate throughout the world. The WKO
(in Japan and many other countries, known as Shinkyokushinkai) with
its headquarters (So-Honbu) in Tokyo, has over 100,000 members in 70
countries all over the world, and it is one of the largest
full-contact karate organizations in the world. Our members are of
many different nationalities, cultures, religions and races, but in
an organization like this that doesn't matter, and even at this
moment somewhere people are training in their dojos with a strong
spirit and a big "Kiai".

Message from Mr Kenji
Midori, President

Kyokushin Karate is a great cultural and
spiritual heritage established by late Sosai Masutatsu Oyama,
utmost efforts which our country can be proud of the world.
The words by Sosai saying,
"With our head low and our eyes high, with moderate
words and generous heart, we will benefit others, on the
basis of piety"
are the essence of Kyokushin.
Now we have taken over the will of sosai by
starting our renewed organization, "Shinkyokushinkai"
with its three valuable missions, youth education,
international communication, and social contribution to step
forward and spread Bushido Spirits and Budo(martial
arts) Karate worldwide.
For that purpose, we will daily continue
our efforts in training to succeed the pride and the spirit
of Kyokushin karate, and will also continue our contribution
to the world peace through promoting our positive activities
as non-profit Organization.

In this way, our organization
will continue to pursue Budo-Karate and build up both strength and
kindness, and through our official status as a NPO the WKO
Shinkyokushinkai will continue to pass on karate to the world from
it's mother-country, Japan.

This
mark expresses the formation of "mind" .
The original idea of Kyokushin comes from the innermost
secret ;
"You learn the basics
after one thousand days of training. You master your mind
after ten thousand days of training"
This mark also expresses the unification of mind, skill and
body, which is essential for fostering the spirit of Budo .
