Shinkyokushin Karate

Fitness - Kickboxing

These highly motivating, and fun classes teach the basics of Kickboxing – technique, footwork, partner training, target training, in a non-competitive cardio and fitness class, and without any contact sparring. Most of our students have noticed a significant increase in their fat loss, co-ordination, balance, well-being, strength, and flexibility, after a few months of training.

ShinKyokushin Karate is a great cultural and spiritual heritage established by late Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, utmost efforts which our country can be proud of the world. The words by Sosai saying,"With our head low and our eyes high, with moderate words and generous heart, we will benefit others, on the basis of piety"are the essence of Kyokushin. Now we have taken over the will of sosai by starting our renewed organization, "Shinkyokushinkai" with its three valuable missions, youth education, international communication, and social contribution to step forward and spread Bushido Spirits and Budo(martial arts) Karate worldwide. For that purpose, we will daily continue our efforts in training to succeed the pride and the spirit of Kyokushin karate, and will also continue our contribution to the world peace through promoting our positive activities as non-profit Organization.

Mini Karate Class

Mini Karate was designed for kids from the age of 4 to 6. Mini Karate-ka (students) learn the same as the older kids, but at a slower pace, and only as much as they can grasp at a time. Classes are split up in intervals with a warm up and karate games designed to assist their strength, flexibility and co-ordination for actual Karate training. Mini Karate-ka learn everything from stances to techniques, body conditioning. The skills they learn in these classes will help them for the rest of their lives.

After the founder Sosai Masutatsu Oyama passed away, the WKO has taken on the mission to spread Kyokushin Karate throughout the world. The WKO (in Japan and many other countries, known as Shinkyokushinkai) with its headquarters (So-Honbu) in Tokyo, has over 100,000 members in 70 countries all over the world, and it is one of the largest karate organizations in the world. Our members are of many different nationalities, cultures, religions and races, but in an organization like this that doesn't matter, and even at this moment somewhere people are training in their dojos with a strong spirit and a big "Kiai".
